Came here spontanously and ended up being the best choice. My husband had the full english - he loved it. I had the eggs benedict, it was so refreshing and the hollandaise sauce was one of the best ive ever had. We also had the hot chocolate. I usually do not like anyone else's hot chocolate apart from Cafe nero but i must say this is deffo up there.

Breakfast at Hastag Cafe – A Tasty Start to the Day I recently visited Hastag Cafe for breakfast and opted for the Hastag Breakfast, which offered a delightful mix of savoury and sweet elements. The savoury plate included beef sausages, turkey rashers, baked beans, hash brown, and scrambled eggs — all cooked well, with the scrambled eggs in particular being perfectly done: soft, creamy, and just right. The sweet side featured French toast dipped in honey, served with a small pot of chocolate sauce. The toast was fluffy and indulgent, pairing beautifully with the rich chocolate. My wife went for the vegetarian breakfast, which included toast, two sunny-side-up eggs, avocado slices, beans, and halloumi. It was a classic combination, but well-executed with fresh ingredients and no complaints on any front. The standout, however, was the karak chai — easily a 5 out of 5. Rich, flavourful, and perfectly spiced, I’d return just for another cup. The only downside was the price — the total bill came to £32, which felt a bit steep for breakfast. Still, the quality of the food and drink made it a worthwhile treat.

Great food, tasted fresh and prices are reasonable. Nice seating available inside. Service is also good and welcoming.

The food they serve is extremely high quality, cooked perfectly and simply delicious. When I entered I was always happily greeted and seated by staff, the kind of service most places around here do not give anymore or cannot be bothered to do, it shows the extra mile that the workers go for their customers and that is something which deserves respect and recognition. This cafe is a hidden gem in my opinion. I normally get the Full english breakfast and there is no complaints on my end, the price is fair for a solid portion, they never skimp out. I have been coming back here every now and then when I can because they have top notch service, amazing food and the cafe is very clean and spacious, some cafes are cramped with small tables but this cafe isn’t, thank you to the staff who make this place feel special.

Lovely place. Third visit for my wife. First for me. And we wonder why it's hard to lose weight! Food was lovely, I like the fact the burgers come with fries. They are doing an offer at the moment, 2 for the process of one on the burgers. To be fair the burgers are really filling! I loved the atmosphere and food. Good place to have a cup of chai too!

food was a 7-10 I enjoyed the food , however I gave the service a 3/5 there was a male college who was nice and and also attentive but however he did not ask if we had any allergies as a waitress myself under the food law/ Clare’s it is crucial to ask a person if they have any allergies. Small but mighty mistake to make. Atmosphere was nice , staff were very friendly and also asking if we was okay with our food. will be coming back x
